This centrally located, bright and spacious bedroom in the basement of a house is a great place to stay while visiting the many sights and activities Toronto has to offer. We are near Casa Loma, Tarragon Theatre, George Brown College, Yorkville, ROM, AGO, U of T, Bata Shoe Museum, Chinatown, Kensington Market and many wonderful cafes, restaurants and bars. The newly renovated basement bedroom is located in a 100+ year old 3 storey home in leafy Seaton Village. The bedroom and sitting area is bright and clean with many amenities. The accommodation contains a sunny sitting room, a dining area, bathroom with shower and a bedroom. (There is no kitchen.) The dining area has a full-sized fridge, microwave, coffee (Nespresso) machine and electric kettle.

Great apartment. On a quiet street so great to chill out, but also close to bars and restaurants and the subway. Downtown and waterfront also walkable if you like to stretch your legs. nice place, run by a nice host 😊
We enjoyed staying at Lisa's place. It was exactly as advertised. Checking in and out were simple. Lisa always responded promptly. You're about a 20 minute walk from the subway and a shorter walk to the bus line that gets you fairly close center of town. It was exactly what we needed.
Loved our stay. Apt. as described and super clean, with ample supplies (bedding, towels, comfy bed), storage spaces, and an extra nice welcoming touch of coffee pods, teas and more. Also, heater in living room was quick to dispense of the morning/evening chill when weather was cool. Great neighborhood too: lovely, quiet street but also just a 5 - 7 min walk to 2 supermarkets, and cafes/restaurants. Lisa was a wonderful host - flexible with our checkin time and quick to respond to any queries. 5-star stay. Highly recommend.
Un lloc molt agradable i práctic. En una zona tranquila i ben comunicada. La comunicació amb Lisa es perfceta. Tot net i confortable. Sols tindre en conter que és un sotan i es ruidós (per les maquinaries de servei) i un poc humit, així que és fred. Totalment recomanable
We had a great stay at Lisa’s place! It’s located in a nice, quiet area, but still close to downtown by subway or walking. The space was spotless and has a nice little work area as well. It definitely added to our trip to Toronto.

Seaton Village is a diverse and welcoming community. The area is quiet, with mature tree-lined streets where neighbours chat on their front porches in the summer. Many of the homes are 100+ years old and have a Victorian and Edwardian heritage. Conveniently located to public transportation and a throughly walkable neighbourhood. Seaton Village has many parks and green spaces, including Vermont Square and Christie Pits Park. Home to many cafes, pubs and restaurants as well as theatres and movie cinemas, there is always something happening in and around Seaton Village.
Public Transportation:
By street car - The 511 streetcar runs from Bathurst Station to the Exhibition Place near Harbourfront.
Buses run from Christie Station and also east-west along Dupont Ave.
By subway - The Bloor-Danforth line runs eat-west stopping at two stations in Seaton Village --Christie station and Bathurst station.
By bike - There are bike lanes throughout Seaton Village you can use to explore the city. Bike rentals are available through Bike Share Toronto.
Parking:
Most of the streets in the neighbourhood allow for paid permit overnight parking. Contact your host for details on purchasing a permit.
Seaton Village is a very walkable neighbourhood with most services just a 5 - 10 minute walk away.
