The house is accurately described. It isn’t overly fancy but is perfect for a large gathering of people who want to be right on the beach. We found everything to be clean and in working order. It was lovely to have so many en suite bathrooms and spacious closets. There is a lack of glasses in the kitchen but that was hardly a concern. As a group of multiple families visiting SC for the first time together, we had such a great time we intend on returning.

Maintenance is needed on the gas cooktop. The igniter stays on on the right front burner and the downdraft hood works intermittently. The upper deck needs repaired or replaced and the main deck needs repair also. The space is great and the proximity to the beach is awesome. The space was clean and furnished OK.

The location is absolutely amazing! The size and layout of the house was perfect as well. The bed were SO comfortable. Access to the Wild Dunes Resort was a nice bonus. Unfortunately, that's about all the good we can say about the property. The house is really in need of a lot of repair and upkeep. The furniture, especially the dining room and living room was filthy with many stains and spots, it reminded me of a frat house. Many of the dining rooms chair had loose legs and wobbled so bad you couldn't use them. Fortunately, they were fixed when we reported them. Many of the curtain rods were coming loose from the wall, so it made it difficult to close them at night for sleeping. The refrigerator leaked on the floor and the one on the right was intermittent, fortunately there were 2. The tub faucets in the master bath leaked really bad, making a mess if you tried to use them. The drain screen in the downstairs shower was not attached so if you dropped anything in the shower, it would be gone down the drain. The outdoor deck was in terrible shape and many of our guests got splinters. We had seen this comment in a previous review and inquired about it before we arrived and were assured it was rectified, it was not. Their solution was to put some carpets on the deck, that was fine if you wanted stand on one carpet without walking around and socializing. Many of the screens on the screen porch were torn, some were fixed when we reported them. Check in procedures were not accurate, when we showed up at the resort it took over an hour to find someone who knew what we were talking about and was able to help us. We asked 4 other people working at the resort where to check in and they had no idea. The cleaning staff left bags of trash and dirty linens out front of the house after they cleaned on Saturday, they never got picked up until Monday. Many of the ceiling fans blades were covered in dust. I would not recommend this place in the current condition; it is in desperate need of a lot of maintenance. The deck is just not safe, it is in desperate need of repair or replacement. If you are barefoot or use the handrails its almost certain you will get a splinter, which was not fun with for our kids and elderly family. The soffits on the rear of the house were loose and hanging down, I was concerned they would fall and injure one of our guests. Many of us commented this looks like a big frat party house, which is fine if that's what you want. I would not recommend this for a family looking for an enjoyable week at the beach.

Location on the beach is fantastic and the house is big with 7 bedrooms each with their own bathroom - so it is great for a large family/group gathering. The outdoor space is way past overdue for maintenance (several of our young ones got splinters despite wearing shoes/sandals most of the time). The upstairs deck is flat out unsafe with numerous loose / warped boards. A couple other items to note: - there is no grill - besides soap in bathrooms, as noted in listing, plan on bringing everything your self

My friends and I had a great time at this house! I would totally recommend for it’s location, views, and cleanliness. The house is situated in a great location. Had many walks on the beach at the wee hours of the day and it felt very safe. The beach was very clean and neighbors were extremely friendly. We spent majority of our time at the house and on the beach -that speaks volumes. The only downside was ordering things from the resort, there was a long wait and took a few times to reach someone but we were there during Labor Day weekend (busy times) -so that’s understandable. Didn’t get to experience the amenities of the resort so can’t speak on that but would definitely stay here again.
