Highly recommend if staying in hakuba Darren and his team were fantastic from moment I booked helping with transfers from Tokyo restaurant bookings and car transfers aswell as an early check in due to arrival times all the way through with free trips to grocery store then post check out even went out of there way to take us to another hotel in area absolute fantastic will only being staying here in future

Great! Grant is very accommodating. He took us to the grocery right away as soon as we arrived. He let us check in early and went back to pick up husband since he arrives separately. He offered to drop us to the bus station when we departed. THE 10/10 stars! Highly recommend to everyone! Thanks again Grant best wishes from Fernandez Family!

Darren was great from the moment of booking by providing plenty of info to help make a stay in Hakuba easier and helped tee things up throughout the stay. A great host would definitely book with Darren again.

The accommodation was great and would consider staying here again, although a few minor things to factor in. The stairs were quite steep so need to be careful esp in winter conditions or sore, tired bodies after a day on the slopes. Of concern was the building's drying room which had no door lock and directly opposite a pub, so please bring a lock for your personal gear! The bath/shower combo was very high to step into and could be difficult for some. The towels felt very old, thin, small and cheap. We definitely noticed the lack of quality. Also strangely there was no blind above the kitchen window opposite the bed. Heating/AC and heated floors were great, the bed was a true king & super comfy. Overall very spacious. Darren was good in responding quickly to emails, although often no one on site to ask questions to in person. Good location, shuttle buses to other mountain resorts close by, definitely book Hybrid restaurant across the road for a delicious meal.
