The Stables were spacious, comfortable and very clean. Maureen had left us plenty of provisions and was very accommodating.
The Stables in Nettleham is the best stocked Airbnb that we have ever rented, and we have rented a large number in a variety of countries. The kitchen was very well stocked with hardware and essentials that are often lacking in rentals, like spices. The Stables had a wide variety of games, books, and videos. If your weather happens to be marginal or worse, you could retire to the living room there, and sit in front of the wood stove (with fire already laid for you) and read a good book or play one of the myriad games. They did a great job converting the former stables to a two-bedroom apartment. The beds are great. It is very quiet and private. The cute, small village has a couple of good pubs, a couple of good places to eat, and a small coop food store across the street. The hostess, Maureen, is an excellent communicator. She was always quick to respond and very clear in her responses. If you are headed for Lincolnshire, consider staying at the Stables. You’ll be happy that you

Myself and my family were so impressed with this accommodation and how much thought and effort had been made to make us feel right at home. The accommodation was absolutely beautiful and was so clean and spotless. It is in a perfect location and very secure with great parking facilities. We would 100 percent stay here again. Lastly a big thanks to Maureen who responded to every email so promptly and even took the time to come and help us with the log burner. An extremely helpful and kind host.
Perfect. Great location. Such a comfortable and well appointed property. So very clean yet a relaxing place too. Kitted out superbly. Excellent and friendly hosts. We wished we could have stayed longer! One of our very best Airbnbs.

Hi, my name is Maureen and I have lived in Nettleham for over eight years and thoroughly enjoy the village lifestyle. My partner and I have grown-up sons and four grandchildren and we love spending time with them and our friends, entertaining and cooking. I am a retired secondary school English teacher and loved teaching students aged 11 to 18 years old. My hobbies include music, reading and walking; we enjoy walking our dog in and around the country lanes surrounding Nettleham.
