We have been staying in many castles in France before and each one has its unique beauty. Sophie is very cheerful. She replied to every of my messages very fast and she would give us some tips to eat in castle or around the village in advance. When we arrived at the castle, Sophie welcomed us and after showing us all the room in the Keep (very clean and beautifully decorated), she took us around the village, brought us to 3 restaurants and introduce to us one by one, and to the boat rental place. We didn’t have time to boat, though, but it sure would be nice to boat around the castle, water is very clear. The restaurant Sophie recommended was good, the staff don’t speak English but we’ve managed to order food and it was quite delicious. Wines are not expensive, and service was fast. We stayed only 1 night at the chateau. Sophie also prepared us breakfast at the time that we have informed her. And at breakfast, she would check on us quite often if we needed more tea or coffee or we needed anything else. We were a group of ten people and ten of us felt satisfied when staying at Sophie’s. I would return to the chateau, if we are back to France.
