We had an absolutely great time staying at the Shed, we still feel very glad that we had found this place, it was exactly what we needed. We stayed there for more than 3 months while renovating our home, Susy has been extremely accommodating, flexible with dates and has spoiled us with delicious dinners every once in a while and the occasional banana bread. She is a great host, very lovely person and we would fully recommend the Shed. Parking is private and safe, shared washing machine in garage, small hob and microwave available. Lots of animals around which you can see from the windows. Generally feels very safe and private!
Susy's shed is a little diamond in the Essex countryside. It is well situated with only a small distance to drive to local amenities and to travel into London. You have everything you need for a short stay and I stayed for x10 days and was extremely comfortable. Susy is approachable, friendly and welcoming. I will for sure come back again. My thanks!
This is one of the best places we've stayed. We stayed while looking for a house, and Susy really looked after us and made us feel at home. The location is beautiful, and the shed is smartly laid out and thoughtfully furnished. The tube station isn't far, but it feels very rural. We wish we could stay for another week!
The Shed is a lovely place to stay, set in beautiful surroundings. The place is very homely and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Susy is a fantastic host and was always available to answer any questions. The lovely town of Epping is a short drive away with many restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend staying here if you are coming to the area.
Susy is an amazing host. By far the best host I’ve had, and she has a heart of gold! Me and my girlfriend were in the midst of a big relocation and Susy immediately made us feel looked after and welcome. Incredibly warm and supportive. I love sharing our special spot in the Essex countryside with guests at the Cottage and the Shed. Chambers Manor is an amazing setting - guests can take in the scenery, enjoy local walks in the fields or Epping Forest, and try out local restaurants and shops. I now also manage a family flat in Central London on Airbnb too. I've travelled a lot and stayed in plenty of swanky houses, luxury hotels, b&b's, guesthouses, camper vans, tents... I'd like to think I know how to provide a peaceful and relaxing stay here for guests. Love travel, food, wine, family, running, hockey, reading, learning, listening…..
