If you want to feel like you’re on a boat but with all the comforts of home, this is the place for you. It’s charming, quirky, and designed and decorated by someone with skill, imagination, and taste. Super comfy and of course near Hearst Castle, San Luis Obispo, etc. The owners of this place are super lucky to have such a special property~ and we’re grateful they shared!

Kit’s house was the perfect place for our family’s local vacation. With 5 people and a dog, we had plenty of room to hang out but also have our space. We loved watching the sea otters and their babies, sounds of the birds, watching the tide come in and out. It was truly a relaxing and peaceful few days. Since dogs aren’t allowed upstairs, I appreciated the installed dog gate. Very walkable location, but we also drove to Los Osos for dinner and SLO for their Thursday night farmers market. Both about 15-20 mins away. My husband unfortunately had to work and said the wifi was great. He said his “office” for those few days was lovely. Thank you Kit, we will be back!

My husband, two teenage kids, our dog and I enjoyed our stay at Kit’s place. The location was so beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed the calm ocean views and visits from adorable sea otters. The house was exactly as it was described in the listing. Kit was very responsive and helpful!

A beautiful, peaceful location. Phenomenal views of the water. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it a breeze to cook a full holiday meal. The deck was great, allowing for hours of bird, seal and otter watching. So quiet, you could hear the waves on the other side of the bay. Perfect escape.
