We had a fantastic stay. The home was spacious, clean and the beds very comfortable. The location suited our needs and allowed easy access to both the City as well as Hout Bay and Chapmans Peak. Communication with the owner was quick and efficient and the housekeeper was very helpful, warmly welcoming us on arrival and ensuring all was ok. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay here! The place itself is ideal for kids as it is only one story and has a covered pool (which is not often the case in Cape Town). Kirstenbosch is minutes away and Cecelia forest is just seconds away - a wonderful location.

We LOVED our stay at guinea fowl cottage. The location was unbeatable, right across from some excellent hiking and central to get around in Cape Town. The pool was a huge hit and he kitchen had everything you'd need. Bibie was a really great communicator and the staff at the cottage were kind and professional. Would stay again.

Gorgeous setting and a beautiful and clean home with all the mod cons you could want. A very well equipped kitchen. The beds were very comfortable too. The host was very responsive and checked in on how we were doing. Would definitely recommend!

Breathtaking, if you are looking for a feeling of being in the wilderness, and Tranquility without the feeling of roughing at all worrying about the weather If you are feeling like knowing you are safe without anyone needing to protect you, which is odd as the security is perfect but I can’t explains. Not only do not notice the security unless you look for it but I’m not sure how to describe it . I am safe here and so my children, to the points I forget that safety is sometimes a concern As I’m at the end of my trip it feels like safety has never been a concern :)
