Nous avons passé des vacances merveilleuses, en famille. Nous étions 9 personnes. La maison est très grande, avec une terrasse accueillante et un jardin très bien entretenu. La localisation est idéale. La vue à 360 degrés est extraordinaire. Enfin, nos contacts avec Annie et avec le propriétaire ont été chaleureux. Malheureusement nous avons fait face à plusieurs problèmes dans la maison. D'abord, l'eau chaude : pendant la moitié de notre séjour nous n'avons pas eu d'eau chaude. Ensuite, le lave-vaisselle : il ne lave plus vraiment. Nous avons donc dû faire la vaisselle à la main pendant tout notre séjour (et même la vaisselle à l'eau froide pendant la première moitié de nos vacances...) ce qui n'était vraiment pas ce que nous avions espéré. Enfin, même si ça semble un détail, la cafetière électrique ne fonctionnait pas. Elle a été gentiment remplacée par le propriétaire au milieu de notre séjour.

We really enjoyed our five nights at Butterfly Villa. Annie was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We arrived to a massive basket Greek pastries that were amazing. The house was perfect for our family of seven. The kids had their own rooms which after being crammed into a hotel room in Athens was a real treat. The views, sunrise/sunsets were breathtaking. It was a bit too chilly for the pool so the kids enjoyed playing basketball and hanging out by the pool. My wife loved the chapel. She held prayers every evening which was really special for her. Ten minutes to a grocery store that had everything, five minutes to the sea and a few more to a proper beach. The house is in a very low-key part of the island so there was no traffic, people were friendly. There are no neighbors close so it felt very private (except maybe for the security cameras). Lots of stray cats hanging around but they weren't a problem. We really didn't want to leave... would return in a heartbeat.

Talo oli todella kaunis ja vastasi kuvia täydellisesti. Talon maisemat olivat mielettömän kauniit merelle. Talo sopi meidän porukalla täydellisesti, jokaiselle jotakin. 14 henkeä ikäluokkana 17-78 ja kaikki nauttivat. Teimme paljon ruokaa villalla, joka ilta illallista keittiö riitti juuri ja juuri meille. Grilli illat olivat kaikista helpoimpia toteuttaa villalla. Meillä oli kaksi vuokra autoa sillä kauppaan oli sen verran matkaa. Muutenkin kiersimme saarta viikon aikana ahkerasti, lindos, seitsemän lähdettä, perhoslaakso, kalithean kylpylä, kaikki kokemisen arvoisia. Ntina oli majoittajana mukava ja piti meistä huolta majoittumisen aikana. Muutamia miinuksia oli matkan aikana. Astianpesukone ei toiminut ja meidän porukassa oli 14 henkeä. Kone saatiin toimintaan kolmantena päivänä. Ntina kyllä hoiti asian hyvin. Olisimme toivoneet myös talokirjaa, jossa olisi kerrottu talon toiminnoista. Pihalla oli myös vanha koira liekan päässä. Koira kyllä hieman huoletti loman aikana.

Tolle Aussicht, alle Schlafzimmer auf ähnlichem Niveau und klimatisiert. Pool immer super sauber, Liegen-Situation fantastisch. Viele großartige Sitzmöbel.

Butterfly Villa is beautifully located on a breezy hilltop overlooking the Aegean Sea. Ntina is a great host, very accessible and easy to reach whenever needed. We had some minor technical issues with the plumbing, but they were promptly resolved, even on a Sunday. Plenty of bed and bath linens were provided for our family group of 12. This villa is well suited to host a larger group, but it is recommended to have a (rental) car to explore other areas of the island and do grocery shopping. The location close to the airport and Rhodes city is convenient, but comes with the sounds of frequent plane departures. The sunset views at the poolside were amazing, as was the super blue moon.
