We had a very relaxing stay at Francescos beautifully restored place, surrounded by a vista of mountains, hilltop villages and gorgeous orange, lemon and olive groves. Francesco is a lovely person, he was very quick with communications and always happy to give advice on anything required. He brought us pastries from his favourite local shop in Pettineo! The house itself is fully equipped, Francesco has provided everything you need to enjoy lovely meals with your group and barbecues. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, each with an en-suite. The pool area is clean and well maintained, it proffers from the sun all day but offers shade underneath the large tree at the edge. Every corner of the property benefits from exquisite detail and delightful views over the area. It is quiet and relaxing and our group will never forget the special time we shared there. Having a car is essential. The walk to Pettineo is lovely. The coastal train to and from Tusa to Palermo is picturesque.

What a gorgeous location! Francesco is one of the most heart-warming, caring hosts we've ever met. The check-in was super flexible, but be aware that the house is a bit tricky to find. But man, it is worth the trip! A fantasic area with lush orchards, you can hand-pick ripe figs on the go. The house itself is charming and you will feel home right away. Ask Francesco about the home-grown olive oil, you will not be disapointed ;) To Francesco, thank you so much for the amazing time, we'll return for sure :)

Lieber Francesco, Wir möchten uns herzlich für die unvergesslichen zwei Wochen in deinem Haus in den Bergen bedanken. Du warst ein außergewöhnlich zuvorkommender Gastgeber, immer bereit, uns bei Fragen zu unterstützen. Der Pool, das Meer und die Umgebung waren ein Traum, und dein Haus mitten in den Bergen bot die perfekte Erholung. Italienischer Charme und Natur Pur - klare Weiterempfehlung! Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in Francescos Haus. Von Beginn an haben wir uns ( 3 Freunde) sehr wohl gefühlt. Durch die clevere Zimmeraufteilung hatte jeder von uns ein eigenes Schlafzimmer inkl. eigenem Bad. Alles war für unsere Ankunft vorbereitet und sehr sauber. Wer Ruhe und Privatsphäre sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Das Grundstück liegt inmitten der Berge mit einem tollen Ausblick. Hervorzuheben ist in jedem Fall der Pool mit separater Außendusche. Zum nächsten Supermarkt sind es ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Auto, bis Cefalu sind es ca. 45 Minuten und bis Palermo ca. 1,5 Stunden - ein Auto ist somit Pflicht.

This is the loveliest accommodation we have booked on Air BnB. Firstly the property is in a stunning location with amazing mountain view’s and sunsets. The property has been beautifully restored with no expense spared and the pool area and outside space is wonderful. But it is Francesco who is such an amazing host that really sets this place apart. We were gifted delicious granitas, drinks in the local bar and he went out of his way to give us info about the local area and restaurants. He was also understanding about a couple of breakages. The location is off the beaten track and more authentic than other areas of Sicily and special because of this. It’s very quiet, peaceful but interesting places locally to explore. Would stay here again with no hesitation
