This is a convenient location near the Notting Hill Gate tube station and Hyde Park. I could get everywhere I wanted to go in London in half an hour or less. The neighborhood feels safe, even at night. That said, I sometimes heard neighbors opening or closing doors and sirens from the main road a block away, so if you need something quiet, the location might not be ideal. The apartment is a small studio, which was fine for my needs. The bed is comfortable, and the furniture is well arranged to make good use of the space. The owners provide a helpful booklet describing how to operate everything. The only thing I wished it had was a drawer to put my clothing so I wouldn't have had to live out of a suitcase for five days. (There is a closet with space to hang a few items but not everything.) Billie was very responsive, answering my questions promptly.

Max and Billie's studio is perfect for a short getaway to London. I was only there for a night, but it had everything I needed. Looked like the photos, completely matched the description, getting in was super easy via the keyless entry system. Wifi was fast enough to catch up on work and the bed was fairly comfortable. Only thing to note: the studio is on the top floor of the building, so it's quite a trek up the stairs (keep that in mind if you're traveling with a lot of luggage). The notice boards said a complimentary washing machine / dryer was somewhere in the building, but I didn't need one so didn't check it out. The building is practically around the corner from the Notting Hill Gate tube station, which will get you into central London in no time. Short walk to Portobello Road + plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area. All in all, would definitely recommend for a short one-person stay.

Great spot for solo traveler and perfect for morning walks with coffee through Kensington Park. Easy access via all transport modes for all other activities and great walking as well. Definitely use this spot again.
