The place was in an excellent location for what we were looking for. Note that the owner lives next door to this property. Biggest issue for us was that the place is showing its age and the AC went out after our 3rd day. We spent the 4th day trying to contact the host and house manager to get it fixed but didn't hear anything back. We eventually had to make other arrangements on our final night bc it was too hot in the house to sleep. We did eventually hear from the host, who apologized for the lack of communication and offered to refund our last night fee by sending a check. I asked if it could be handled via the Airbnb refund process instead but never heard back. If I find myself back in Austin, I will be finding a different location to stay.

We had a great gathering of family and friends. The house is cozy and feels very much in nature... while only a few minutes from all the activities in Austin like Zilker Park and Hula Hut. We went for a great hike in the trails around the house and it definitely felt like an oasis in the city. We also got some great views of downtown on our walk. Overall a great time.

Back at the house, the well-equipped kitchen transformed into a haven of culinary creativity, as we prepared wholesome meals to nourish both body and soul. The living room had plenty of space to hold a yoga class. We gathered in cozy corners, indulging in the timelessness of poetry and heartfelt discussions. and when it was time to retire, we found our beds to be most comfortable. Without a doubt, this hidden gem nestled among the trees is a sanctuary beckoning families and retreat seekers alike, promising an unforgettable escape.

We had a very comfortable stay here, the house had everything we needed and we loved the peaceful, quiet outlook over the woods.

We LOVED this beautiful house. Stayed here for a long weekend and found our stay to be a delight. The neighborhood is not walkable so be sure to have a vehicle to drive around or expect to Uber everywhere! All around amazing place to stay, great for families or small groups of friends.
