I definitely recommend staying at Manuel's property at Barra de Santiago. The house is amazing and the location is incredible. On top of this, the caretakers Jose Mario and his wife were really helpful and made the experience memorable. We will surely return with the family.

This was our second time staying at Manuel’s house and we had a fantastic time. The house is situated on a beach that is practically empty, and you can enjoy the beautiful beach and swimming pool all day long. Bring all the groceries you need (since there is not much nearby) except fish and seafood, which caretakers Jose Mario and Marta can arrange for you to buy fresh from local fishermen. Jose Mario and Marta are also very good cooks and will suggest delicious recipes and cook them for you. This is a perfect place for people who want to enjoy stunning nature in the privacy of their own space. Highly recommended!

Beautiful beach house. The pool, hammocks, and outdoor seating areas were perfect for our family. The caretakers Jose and his wife were lovely and prepared an incredible seafood dinner. 4x4 is required to access the house, but we were able to securely park one of our vehicles a few minutes away. Be sure to enjoy the sunsets and explore the estuary and mangroves by boat.
