The Shearer's Quarters is camping meets homestay - an authentic farm experience in the heart of the Cudgegong Valley. Once a home for the shearers who visited the farm for more than 50 years, The Shearer's Quarters is now a cosy cabin with views of the property. It's a unique experience for those looking for a different kind of country getaway. The shearers quarters provide a birds eye view of farm life, with sheep or cattle being moved past your accommodation. The Shearer's quarters has 6 individual bedrooms, a communal kitchen and living area. The bedrooms open up onto a covered outdoor entertaining area. There is an outside toilet and an ensuite in the main bedroom. The Shearer's Quarters are basic. We advise only hardened travellers should stay in winter months. We have heaters in the rooms and extra bedding but it can be very cold. A fully equipped kitchen makes eating-in fun. There is a BBQ, electric oven and microwave with pantry essentials including tea , coffee , oil, sugar , butter, farm eggs, cereal , sauces and locally baked bread.
