自我介绍

I am Cumbrian born and bred but have travelled extensively with work and for pleasure throughout my life. Exploring new places has always been fun, but also I love going back to certain locations as they give you that feeling of comfort and instant relaxation. When I travel I love to experience the small things that make a difference. I can always remember the first time my friend from University and I took our first holiday cottage a couple of years after graduating - the cottage in Whitby provided us with a pint of milk and a bottle of wine to welcome us. I have never forgotten how fabulous we all thought that was. So now that I have begun to host I have remembered that it is these little touches that make a difference to someones stay. Both John (my other half) and I travel a lot for work and this is why we have decided to let our home when were are not around. Because it is our home it is full of all the things you would expect at home - a full range of cooking accompaniments and household staples, comfortably furnished and a welcoming atmosphere. We so hope that you will enjoy your stay, Ulverston is an amazing little market town and we are right in its heart. Once you are here everything is within walking distance, pubs, eateries and good walks. Its a great little festival town with always something going on.
