Pro’s: Beautiful beach with shallow, clean water. Plenty of space. Lots of toys and things for children to do. Quiet neighborhood. Kayaks available to use. We really enjoyed watching the sunrise/sunset every day. Con’s: We expected more for what we paid. For $4,200 we only had 3 rolls of toilet paper & 3 garbage bags per cabin. There are no bedroom doors. Our second and biggest complaint was the lack of privacy. The owners live directly across the street, and the neighbors are very close so you always feel like you’re being watched. There are also no tents/canopy’s allowed, so you cannot create your own privacy. This truly is a great space, and we loved the cabins. We just wish the listing was more accurate on the lack of privacy. These things wouldn’t be a big deal if it weren’t for the price we paid. We had high expectations and were left a little disappointed.

This place was awesome. Beautiful and quiet. All cabins were clean and as advertised. Loraine was quick to respond to any questions we had. Can’t wait to stay here again.

We spent a week at the 3 Little Cabins with our two daughters' families, so the three separate cabins were ideal for us. Our 5 grandchildren (ages 6-15) loved it! They were on the beach and in the water every day. Since the lake is less than 2' deep out to over 100 yards, the kids really enjoyed playing football, whiffle ball and kayaking in the water. The hosts also provide a shed full of water toys as well as bocce ball, croquet and Cornhole...plenty to keep all of us actively engaged with the grandkids. The cabins were very well equipped with everything we needed to cook. The hosts are Lorraine and David are nearby and easily accessible through AirBnB messages. Additionally, the neighbors on either side were especially friendly. Just about 45 minutes to the Mackinac Island ferry, 20 minutes to Ocqueoc Falls and several marinas to rent watercraft makes this an ideal rental to enjoy Upper Michigan! Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful week at the 3 Little Cabins!

We stayed at Lori’s three little cabins for a multigenerational vacation! Everyone (from my 80+ year old grandparents to my 4 year old daughter) loved this spot! The cabins were rustic and cozy, but still provided all the needed amenities. It was really nice that each family had their own space, but then there were areas where we could gather as a group. The living spaces in the cabins are larger than they appear in the photos, which was a great surprise! The outdoor space is absolutely perfect for families with young children. My kids (4 and 6) spent hours playing in the sand area and splashing around in the shallow water every day. The teens and adults really enjoyed the kayaks and loved exploring the lake, along with the next door river. I highly recommend Lori’s cabins and I will not hesitate to book a stay with her again in the future!
