Beautiful home, very clean!’

The house was extremely clean. We were not at the house much since we were out and about most of the time. Unfortunately there is no cable. We were there the weekend of the final four games of March Madness. We could not watch them since we didn’t have our account information with us. The other problem was the house cleaner forgot to leave us any washcloths in the bathroom so we had to use the large hand towels for showering. The reasons for the 4 stars instead of 5.

This is a great property, but we had a few issues. When we walked into the home it had a strong smell of cigarettes. This was a serious problem because one of the people with us is recovering from lung cancer, and the strong smell could have caused him to have an asthma attack. We also had to roll up the area rug in the living room because it did not lay flat on the floor. It was a tripping hazard. We had to tape down the rug in the bedroom for the same reason. There was also a lack of pans for baking or use in the oven.

Great place to stay in Bastrop. The home was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable with multiple pillow choices. All around just perfect.
