What a magical place it is! I am super grateful for Boaz and his wife, who created this beautiful and secluded area by the lake, where everyone feels welcome. They are super friendly and helpful hosts. Simple, yet functional tiny houses without working electricity during our stay and no WiFi but with marvelous lake view and tasty homemade food (which is slightly pricey for ugandan standards - 10k per breakfast and 15k per dinner and it's the only option in the area, there are no shops and other restaurants, so be prepared). The place is located around 40-60 minutes boda boda ride from Kabale (for 15-20k per person) and Boaz helped us to organise this trip which was a great, bumpy adventure. If you are looking for a place to rest, with a beautiful view, lots of colourful birds around, where you can swim in a refreshing lake, walk around green hills or just rent a canoe and swim to the nearby island - it's your place!

This place is very beautiful and an amazing location next to the lake. Muhereza and his wife are friendly and good hosts. We enjoyed canoeing at a good price. Hiking and fishing were double the price of canoeing, which we found expensive. Though we did enjoy the activities. There is a dock and diving board for swimming on site. Food is tasty with big portions but with a very small menu. The listing stated that breakfast was included, yet this is not in fact true. There are no real shops nearby, however there is a couple of bars within a few minutes walk. If you walk around then be aware many people asked us for money.

it is beautiful place with Hills surrounding making it very peaceful, not Windy. I felt at home,,it was very refreshing to swim in the lake,, the people around were very friendly,many interesting islands to explore.the host was very friendly, funny and helpful.

Grâce à l'accueil de Muhereza et sa famille, on se sent comme chez soi dans un cadre magnifique au bord du lac Bunyonyi. Merci encore pour la délicieuse nourriture !
