Wir hatten eine wirklich schöne Zeit. Das Haus liegt etwa eine Stunde von Galway entfernt. Für uns war es ein guter Ausgangspunkt für verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die Cliffs of Moher, Inishmore oder allgemein den Connemara Nationalpark. Im Nachbarort gibt es einen gut ausgestatteten Supermarkt, einen Pub und eine Bushaltestelle. Von dort kann man für 8 € nach Galway fahren und die Stadt besichtigen. Eine Fährverbindung nach Inishmore ist auch nur 15 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Insgesamt passt hier alles! Vom Haus aus führt ein Weg direkt zu einem wunderschönen Korallenstrand. Sehr schön fanden wir auch die umliegenden Tiere wie Schafe, Esel oder Fasane. Nachts war es total ruhig. Verbesserungsvorschläge unsererseits wären vielleicht noch: härtere Matratzen, Möglichkeit dreckige Schuhe abzustellen und Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bad.

Loved staying at the cottage. It was so comfortable and spotless. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed relaxing at this stunning location. Top class!

My Daughter and I have just had a truly wonderful 6 nights here, it was awesome! it’s bigger than in the photos. The views from all windows are beautiful, everything has been done to a very high standard, king size bed is very comfortable, bed linens and towels felt lovely, showers in bathroom and en-suite were brilliant power showers, much better than at home! Kitchen has everything you could possibly need and all the appliances are high quality and easy to use. Everywhere was very clean, with so much light from all windows and doors. It most definitely exceeded our expectations and more! We loved Coral Beach which is just a short walk down from the cottage, great for swimming it’s so clear! we’ll bring our snorkels next time! and we loved watching the sunsets. Eamon and Linda left us a lovely welcome pack, which included a special 60th birthday gift for me, that was so very kind and thoughtful of them, which I will treasure! We will definitely come back!

This was an outstanding property to stay in and we could not recommend it highly enough. The cottage has been lovingly and stylishly restored to an exceptional standard. Each room has fabulous views and there is a wonderful short walk to the “coral” beach for a swim. Eamon and Lynda were warm and welcoming hosts and there is nothing we would change - our stay was perfect - thank you both.
