life is so much more then nice words and so called good intentions ! to do the things makes the difference !!! kiss the frog , take the risk - dont hesitate !! born and grown up in a big industrial city in north west germany, i needed 30 years to free myself from the roots ,grown by society and social background - to become an universal citizen , realising dreams, not only dream them !! via amsterdam, spanish ilands , berlin,brasil i came to portugal, fell in love with beautyful sintra ,and still i am here, dont want to leave !! this is magic , it seems that the time stands still - or does not exist, overwhelming natur, sun, wind , ocean - moutains, forests, beaches - trees, flowers, humans, mystic inspiration, eternity, the sound of the waves : brainmassage!!!!! smelling , feeling, tasting - recover long lost instincts, back to natur ,sustentability, peace and respect, let the wind take you - be the wind !! this is the perfect spot to relax, recharge your battaries ,escape from busy lisboa, in absolute peaceful nature, fairytale like, situated between mystic magic sintra with castilho dos mouros and palacio de pena ( both illuminated in the night!!) on the one side , and the atlantic , you can hear it - on the other side !! beaches , one more beautiful then the other, azenhas do mar, praia macas, praia pequinha and praia grande, via adraga to ursa , the most unique one - unforgetteble !! and the serra - a mountaim chain, full of trees, from castilho dos mouros and palacio de pena via quinta regaleira , montserat ,capuchos and peninha till cabo de roca -- georgeous !!!! all this is the parque natural sintra cascais - our house makes part of it !! here is no pollution, no noise - nature in perfect harmony ! we have a swimmingpool 8 by 4 what we try to keep in good condicion - but we dont like chemicals !! there is a big stone bbq, a roof terrace to watch the sunset, on the most western point of europe with some 1000kms atlantic in front - it is unbelievable !!, room for totaly privacy - or chance to mingle , our guests are real nice people !!! not to forget to mention our animals !! 3 big dogs , more peacefull and sweet you can not imagine , a gang of 5 cats , also totaly humanised , used to go in everywhere, sleep everywhere - you will make friend with all of them immediately !!! and there is another cat, having kittens at moment-- so the number in total is 11 !! and there are ducks ,chicken and a rooster who does not have a watch - sometimes he has to tell in the middle of the night all the neighbourhood how good he is takung care of his ladies !!! i am sorry , so far i did not find a way to stop him from doing that ! nobody wants to eat gustavo ..... our garden is full of fruit, physalis in abundancoa , also grapes, apples ,peers, peaches, figs, nuts , citrons - if you are here at the right moment ,its all yours !! tomatoes, garlic , fresh eggs - the good life ! by car from here to sintra takes 10 min , to the beaches too.... if you dont come by car, i offer an adititionaly pick up service from sintra ,or the airport . also i can be your private driver, cheaper, faster and much more comfortable then the public transport, dont waste your precious holiday time waiting for the bus !! claro , all this driving only when i have time !! i can also make food for you , in the freezer i always have bacalao al bras , pizza with thuna , sardins or whatever we can find in the house or in the garden.. beer and a real nice )red wine , the most western red wine from europe, made here in colares from local grapes.... a good traditional veggie- cheese and bio shop in 20 min walking distance ..... one time here , you dont want to leave again !! sure, you also can just crash for a night and go on in the morning , you will be treated in the same way.... but to discover just a bit of the beauty of this araa without stress i would advise to stay 3,4,5 days ,there is so much to see !!, after a week you will become part of it !!! be careful, it is dangerous !! i almost forgot - we have 2 bicycles , you can use for free , to go to the beach they are perfect !! you dare !
