Great place to stay not far from the centre which was very easily accessible by bus. Very helpful host who gave us good tips and advice, especially for breakfast at Nelson’s nest!

I stayed in one of the ensuites and everything was clean and looked like the pictures. Check-in and check-out were easy and clearly explained by Amy previous to arrival/departure. My room was almost on Parramatta Rd so it was understandably a bit noisy but nothing tragic, especially with the windows closed. There was one day I woke up to drilling thinking it must be 7am already only to find out it was midnight. Clearly this is not their fault, but something to be mindful of as the construction site nearby seems to operate on a 24hs basis. The food and the atmosphere in the pub were also great and it was pretty easy to catch the bus to USyd which is what I needed. The only incident I had was that on the first night around 6:30pm someone barged into my room with another key and then left when he realised I was in the room. He didn't introduce himself or mentioned he worked there (which I discovered later), so I was feeling fairly unsafe that first night as a female solo traveller.

Good room very conveniently located with frequent buses into the city. Handy to have the shared kitchen facilities plus laundry facilities for a small fee. It was a little warm with no air con and some noise as expected as near a busy road. Overall pleased with our stay.

Had the best sleep, the bed was super comfy and the host was very helpful !! I would stay again 10/10 Great for the price and great food downstairs
