The first thing I want you to know about me is that I am so grateful for all the Airbnb guests that have chosen to stay in one of my listings and I am also grateful for the future guests that will one day be staying in one of my listings too. Your decision to use Airbnb is putting food on someone's table and changing the finances of families so thank you!!! I am the mother three, my eldest is 27, my middle child is 9 and my youngest is 8 years old. I started doing Airbnb by chance, at the time was a tired landlord that had to do a massive evictions at our Miami property. Needless to say this was a huge financial struggle for us because we had to evict a few families at once and then travel from our home in Virginia to Miami to fix up the property. So we needed a place to stay because though I had just evicted all those people the place was horrible and not fit for sleeping even one night. So I remembered that I had used Airbnb on trip once before and so I decided to see if I could get a room through them. I found the room and spent the night and the next day I woke up with this great idea to turn my spaces into Airbnbs and that is exactly what I did. That decision has come with its own challenges but those challenges do not outweigh all the good that has come out of the experience of being an Airbnb host. Being an Airbnb host has given my family and me, the opportunity to do family better. Because of Airbnb, I am now a stay at home mom that gets to homeschool her kids. This to me is a dream that would have never been possible without Airbnb. Airbnb has helped us get our finances in order. I am no longer a tired landlord wasting my profits to fix up the destruction of bad tenants. Instead, I am now a happy host that loves receiving guests in her home. This great change has only come about because of you and all the guests that have stayed and plan on staying in one of our listings. That's why I am so grateful for you! Airbnb and its guests have changed our lives for the better so thank you! I want you to know that when choose to stay in an Airbnb you are choosing to support families all around the world. The buying power that we have and exercise when we use platforms like Airbnb has the power to change lives. My family and I are a testament to that. So as you can imagine it is with pure joy that we receive all of our guests. When our guests arrive we want them to feel at home and like family. Trust that all we can do to ensure your comfort will be done but also, please understand that there are something that are out of our control, so when you come to our listing please judge us only on the thing that are within our control. Like I said before, Airbnb does come with some challenges and one of the biggest challenges is when we have a guest that leaves a bad review because the neighbor's dog was barking when they arrived or because the neighbor has not painted his house. These are things that are out of our control so we can't do anything about that but you can trust, that if it is within our control and something is wrong, we will make it right for you. So once again, thanks for using Airbnb and even if you don't stay at our place, we still think you are great!!!
