From the beginning the communication was awesome. Upon our arrival at the house we could tell the listing described the house perfectly. Great setting on the lake, it waa quiet cove portion of the lake and the setting of the house on the property allowed us enough privacy to enjoy ourselves outside. The place came with a canoe and a few kayaks which we did us. They are very easy to get in and out of the water. There is a tavern near by that is with walking distance which we did take advantage of.

We stayed late August with a party of 9! The cottage was very spacious, clean and comfortable with the added seating on the porch. It was very peaceful to sit outside and drink your morning coffees or evening cocktails and watch the boats go by. We took advantage of the kayaks as well as the nearby quaint beach for my daughter to swim in the day we were leaving. Overall the stay was great and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Casey is a great host and extremely responsive!

This house was outstanding! It was super well laid out to accommodate our group and if it weren't for needing dinner we could have just stayed there all day (the bed in the master was so darn comfortable I want the name of the mattress). Everyone loved the kayaks and canoe, and the fire pit was definitely well used during our stay. The lake is large enough to safely explore by kayak, even for the inexperienced, but not so busy that you felt crowded at all. There is a small but decently stocked corner store very close, and it's a very quiet little corner of Michigan. We would definitely stay again!
