This is my first time to book with airbnb and Tanya's property has exceeded my expectations.Very responsive, easy to to talk to, considerate and thoughtful. She went the extra mile to make a wheelchair ramp for my dad which made our stay so much easier.Her team at the property of Ogie and Benny made our stay extremely comfortable. I highly recommend for those considering to book to take their service of cooking meals.Shout out to Clifford (their chef, I hope I got his name right!)Meals were lovely and big servings. The place itself forces you to relax and unplug.Yes the travel is long but the experience is worth it. As others said, just go and leave all your troubles behind!

Spent a milestone birthday at Balay by the Sea and absolutely loved it! We made Balay our “homebase” for touring Vigan and Ilocos Norte. When we arrived, I almost second guessed my choice because the waves were so huge (for my kids/toddler). But the waves were calmer on the last day of our stay and we spent the whole afternoon swimming (beach is sandy so yaaay!). As for Balay, it was really an experience staying in a heritage-style home. Its beauty comes out at night with the warm lights and the sound of the ocean, a bonfire and roasting marshmallows by the beach. Truly memorable! Kuya Ogie is also a star of Balay and Ate Bennie. They take care of you like family. Always going the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Tanya also did a beautiful job managing and responding to our queries remotely, making sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Our kids didnt want to go home yet when it was time to go. Thank you Tanya, Kuya Ogie and Ate Bennie. ❤️

Balay by the Sea is truly a gem. A bit hidden but once you reach the location, you wouldn't want to go out anymore. It gives you that homey, tranquil and peaceful vibe. The beachfront with bonfire experience at night was a plus point for my family. Since I have four kids, the easy and private access to the beach was a sure winner. They also allowed pets so you wont need to worry leaving your pets behind. We also appreciated how well the caretakers and chef took care of our needs. They were very respectful and considerate if we needed anything more. Overall, we did not only enjoy our stay, we felt relaxed and was able to get a lot of recharging time which this momma needed a lot 😂 If you are looking into having the same kind of experience, I highly recommend Balay by the Sea. Hats off to the host as well, Ms. Tanya who religiously checked in and made sure we were comfortable and assisted well. ❤👍 Can't wait for a second trip! ❤

Balay By The Sea is uniquely amazing!!!! It’s the best place of the North. We all loved the place and we were all impressed of the lovely services and help provided by the Balay By The Sea team 🥰👌we will surely come back to this beautiful paradise 👍😍
