Guesthouse KIOTO is using an old town house (Machiya) about 100 years old. Here is located in a local area, 30 minutes by bus from Kyoto station. There are many restaurants, supermarkets and convenience stores near the guest house. We have prepared a handmade map of the neighborhood to introduce you to our recommendations. You can go to Kinkakuji by bicycle. There is a public bath of tangible cultural property called Funaoka Onsen where you can go on foot for 15 minutes. The guest room is a Japanese style tatami room on the second floor. From the window, you can see a big maple tree and a small Japanese garden. Toilets, showers and wash room is shared on the first floor.. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, fans and free Wi-Fi. Because it uses an old townhouse, the soundproofing function is not perfect. If you would like to have a homemade Japanese breakfast, please make a reservation at least 1 day before check-in.
