Our stay was okay. The property was in a run down part of Pontypool, litter outside the building was off putting on arrival. The place is nicely decorated & obviously newly reno’d, which we were able to tell due to the hoards of boxes stashed out in the back garden, not to mention some left inside the rooms. Furniture had just been built as the screws/nails were left inside the drawers, which posed dangers to younger kids. The washing machine wasn’t even plumbed in so be aware if you need one, like I did, after 4 weeks of travelling! The fan we were provided was on its last legs. The kitchen was well stocked, but be sure to wash things over before use as some things were left a little grubby. The owner informed me on arrival that the shower wasn’t working, but they were in the process of getting it fixed. Which they did. But when I expressed my concern regarding the washing machine & the boxes/screws/nails everywhere, he failed to respond. Not a terrible stay, but certainly not as described.
