We had a pretty fun stay, too bad the cabin as not available due to weather damage the day before our trip. Heater in the dome is designed for outdoor use, so the propane smell lingers in the dome for quite a while.

If you’re looking for something between cottage-ing and camping, this is it! Beautiful view of the water, very comfy bed, clean bathroom, accurate description, responsive host. We made the mistake of bringing our own plug in heater which drained the battery pack (don’t do this!) Ray found us a solution to make sure we had power for the remainder of our stay. The walk to the dome is on very uneven ground. Beautiful in the fall once the leaves have turned. BBQ was great to cook on with a side burner. Beautiful hiking trails nearby at Coopers Falls. Gravenhurst is about a 20min drive if you need anything. We had a great stay!
