I spent my Hens day/night at Buckland Estate. The whole property is beyond beautiful and the rich history is everywhere and in every aspect of the home. We spent the day in the pool which was amazing because it was a really hot day. I struggled a little with no aircon in the house but there were lots of fans and we were just having too much fun for it to dampen our time. We were kindly afforded an early check in. We had a big shared dinner which we prepared beforehand luckily as the actual cooking space is quite small and no proper stove top but there's other appliances to make up for it. I highly recommend Buckland Estate and would love to go in Winter. The views are just magical.

The house is really lovely and had everything needed to cook a roast dinner. The pool is shared with other guests but when we wanted to use it there was no one else there. The horses are very friendly and will come up to you for a pet and a snack.

My family and I would like to thank Russell and Di for the wonderful stay at the Buckland Estate over Christmas 2023. The venue is perfect for family bonding and is also filled with Australian history. A big thank you to the grounds keeper, Bill. He was very helpful. Thanks the Monks family.
