Really enjoyed our stay in The Smitty. The surroundings were beautiful, and the apartment was so comfortable and clean with plenty of space and bathrooms for our group of five. Absolutely lovely New Year's weekend staying at Overhailes as a cozy base from which to explore Edinburgh!

We had a lovely stay in The Smiddy. It was clean, comfortable and cosy. The location is lovely with amazing views across the local countryside. The cottage is spacious and comfortable with everything you need for a stay, lots of storage and a well equipped kitchen. The information provided was great and we visited a couple pf the restaurants recommended by the host. The host was really quick to respond when we had a question about the heating. All in all I would highly recommend Tara's accommodation in beautiful East Lothina.

Cottage in lovely peaceful location for exploring East Lothian plus easy access into Edinburgh. Lovely to be able walk from cottage along river or up to Hailes castle. Cottage is very well equipped, very clean. Nice to have outdoor seating which weather meant could enjoy!. Good communication from host, would recommend a stay here.
