The house itself was fine but fairly overpriced. A car is a necessity due to the incredibly steep hills that surround the house. The main issue I had with staying here was my interactions with the host. The night before checkin he requested a profile picture which I was uncomfortable with as he knew there were 3 women staying at the house. I decided to sleep on it and seek advice from my family. The host requested a photo at 7am the following morning and within less than an hour had cancelled our booking. I was only made aware of this at 11 am when my family and I were going to the airport as we had spent the morning packing. When I asked the host what had happened he claimed Airbnb had cancelled the booking, this was a lie as confirmed by airbnb support. The refund of the initial booking would take 8-10 days and rebooking meant spending another $2000 for 3 nights totalling $4000+. Important to note that you will be monitored by the host via ring cameras facing the front door and pool.

Fantastic stay, with an amazing pool and outdoor area. Chris had thought of everything to have us and our pet feel welcome and right at home from the get go. The house had modern decor throughout and was very clean and tidy. A great experience and extremely relaxing!

We loved our stay at Chris’s. Stunning cottage, beautiful decor, pool, outdoor living area and everything we needed. The local recommendations were great and a 20min walk home after a concert at Suncorp was so convenient.

My husband, granddaughter and I stayed at Chris’ house for 3 weeks. It is a really lovely property - ideally located, very well kitted out, everything we needed to settle in and feel at home immediately. The pool is wonderful, the garden offers privacy and a feeling of space. Chris was responsive and sorted out any queries immediately. I highly recommend and would definately stay here again.
