This cute cabin was in the perfect location for our visit to Blue Acres Appalachian Aquaponics Farm just 10 minutes down the road. The train passes by at all hours but it never woke me up since I made sure to pack my earplugs. The fire pit outside was a nice extra, and we appreciated that there was a split system in each room to keep us cozy.

The little cabin was very nice and such a relaxing atmosphere the only thing that really took us by surprise was that the house is basically nestled on top of a railroad. The cabin was very clean.

Justin and Kristy were amazing! Arrival instructions were extremely clear and helpful, and Kristy came over to say hi once I arrived and got settled in just to introduce herself and let me know they were around if I needed anything. (Especially as a woman traveling alone!) Justin and Kristy live right across the way, so I felt super safe and secure staying there, despite its remoteness! The cabin is right across the highway from the train tracks and a railroad crossing — so you will hear the train horns all night! — but I'm a pretty heavy sleeper and was able to sleep through most of it. That was the only downside amid many many upsides! Would definitely recommend the cabin to anyone else looking for a clean, cozy space in the area!
