This place is a GEM! From the time you pull in and open your car door and hear the running water in the creek you are so relaxed. Fantastic history. The caretaker from across the street came over and told us about the history. He was so nice. The place has everything you need to enjoy your stay inside and out. The beds were comfortable so got a great few nights sleep. The grandkids came out to visit and loved all the games. We used to live in Grants Pass but have since moved to Texas but come back several times a year to visit and we will only stay here from now on. Everyone enjoyed. It was a little cold out so everyone enjoyed sitting around the fire pit while we were grilling out burgers. Thank you so much for opening your home to us.

We had such a wonderful time and only wish we could have stayed longer. The house is very cozy, we immediately felt at home. The outdoor space is beautiful with cute little spaces/moments everywhere you look. We can’t wait to come back in the summer so we can enjoy the creek and all there is to offer. The rich history only adds to the experience and we had fun learning about the mine, the home, and the families who enjoyed this space before us. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. I’ve never stayed in a place so well-stocked. The open layout made it a wonderful place to visit with family. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable with a pre-built fire, local wine and pumpkin bread. They’ve also upgraded the WiFi, so streaming is available, though we didn’t use it. The time flew by and we were sad to leave, but we’ll be back!
