Had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. If you’re looking to go off-grid and immerse in beautiful surroundings this is the perfect place. Mel and Tom were really responsive, helpful and friendly. Can’t fault a thing! :)

Beautiful, quiet & peaceful location. Very unique house. If you want to escape the city & enjoy the county this is the place to go. However, some of the issues we had were no ability to lock doors, no privacy of curtains available, door to main bedroom is too small for the frame so couldn't shut, house could have used a cob web sweep, dirty sheets where a used tissue was found in the main bedroom under the blanket and dead frogs were found in the house. As avid campers & lovers of nature this house was still slightly uncomfortable even for us.

A must try if wanting a peaceful, relaxed stunning stay. Such a cute little 2 bedroom mud brick cottage which has obviously been made with love. Lots of places outdoors to sit and have a herbal tea, read a book, paint a picture or sing by the campfire. 🦚The peacocks were a stunning surprise and their calls echo through the lush green valley in the morning along with the kookaburras and mooing of cows in the distance from the dairy farm you pass on your way there. This is off grid living so if you expect hot running water, flushing toilets and air conditioning you are the wrong kind of person. If you go with the flow, make your own music, breathe and stretch and are at one with the world, this place is for you as it was for us. We thoroughly enjoyed this very special mud brick stay.
