Great spot! Great host! Would recommend to anyone staying in Edinburgh

Simon's place was exactly as described and very clean, a lovely jumping off location for all things Edinburgh as it was just a few minutes up the royal mile where most tours meet in the mornings. While all the buildings in Edinburgh Old Town were built a long time ago, the apartment was very clean and charming and made us feel right at home. It was a big perk to have a washing machine and drying rack too as we were staying a full week. Simon was extremely responsive as a host and gave great recommendations. Would definitely look to stay here again for my next trip to Edinburgh since both Old Town and New Town are within quick walking distance. There are also many bars, restaurants, and coffee shops near by. Our favorite for coffee was La Barantine Victoria which had amazing pastries!

We totally enjoyed our time in Edinburgh. Simon was an excellent host and the apartment was in a perfect location and met our needs perfectly. It is on the 4th floor without a lift but we had no problem with that. We would stay there again.
