Pluses: Location relatively close and traffic free to downtown. Very pet friendly with fenced in backyard. Well equipped and functional kitchen. Nice amount of space. Easy street parking. Negatives: Very bad mattress long past its replacement deadline. The sides are crushed and uncomfortable. Cheap pillows. There is lots of loud noise and rumbling from the adjacent freight train depot day and night. The kitchen handles were crusty with old food. The duvet cover was not put on the duvet - we found it in the closet a few days in. No face towels. The thermostat is in a low cold spot by the door and does not reflect the internal temperature of the unit, so temperature fluctuates in the unit uncomfortably. The dishwasher wheels were missing - I replaced two of them but the tray still didn’t come in and out well - needs TLC. Light bulb in kitchen and under microwave were burnt out. Long list of checkout chores despite $150 cleaning fee.

Very spacious upper unit apartment. Looks even better in person. Great night-time views from balcony. Probably not a neighborhood to walk around at night, but about a 15-minute drive from more walkable areas. Could not hear noise from the nearby trains, but definitely felt the vibrations. Hosts were very attentive and restocked some supplies in a timely manner. Overall a great stay and would rebook.

Our stay was really nice. The apartment was ultra clean and organized. We had a problem with adding an extra day to our original date...it was a pain to get it straightened out and that was not the fault of the host, it was Airbnb's. Patrick, who manages the apt. was wonderful. A few suggestions: 1)The clothes washer and dryer are stacked and it was difficult to read the dial on the dryer, it sits up high. My husband is tall so that was helpful, maybe have a step stool for those who are not. 2) Supply a wine key for opening wine, once again my husband figured a solution. 3) Provide a small trash can for the bathroom. 4) It would be nice to have wash clothes for the bathroom. These are small little details, but it would be nice to have. We had our dog and we so loved having a fenced in yard for her. We really enjoyed our stay and many thanks to Patrick!!
