This full-facility resort is located on the southern slope of Steinkopf, at an altitude of 350 to 410 meters above sea level. Situated between the Fulda and Werra Rivers, the small village of Ronshausen / Machtlos offers an excellent mild air quality. The large holiday park consists of 170 houses, and is a paradise for children and an oasis of rest and relaxation for adults. In and around the main building there are excellent facilities including a reception area, restaurant, indoor pool (14 x 5 m), sauna, solarium, table tennis tables (inside & outside), a simple indoor play area and a children playground. Several sports and playing fields are also located in the park. There is even a tennis court and a grilling/campfire area. This bungalow (type 'Robinson') has an area of approximately 59 m2 and can accommodate 2 to 5 persons. Furthermore, the fully-equipped kitchen has 4 hotplates, a refrigerator, electric oven and coffee maker. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. This bungalow has two bedrooms, one furnished with a double bed, the other with a bunkbed + a sleeping area with a single mattress. All accommodations are individually furnished and comfortable and have a spacious ground floor with furnished terrace. The woods invite you for impressive walks, horseback riding or cycling. This region offers many attractions and is known as 'Land of 40 Burghs'. For example, visit the magnificent castle of Wartburg, which is situated on a hill, 441 meters above the city of Eisenach (44km), or visit the beautiful medieval castle in Bad Hersfeld (26km). The large bustling town of Kassel (85km) has plenty to offer as well, including museums, castles (final Wilhelmshöhe, Löwen-burg) and large parks with fountains, waterfalls and water games. Kassel also has a number of special events such as the “Documenta“, an international art exhibition (since 1955, held every 5 years) and the most important exhibition of contemporary visual art in Western Europe.
