Therese gave us a warm welcome and provided us with lots of information about the local services and activities. She also provided us with her own locally produced cheese which was delicious and lasted for much of our holiday. The property was of a very high standard with an excellent bathroom and comfy beds and there was plenty of space for our family of five adults. There is a shop in the village where you can buy bread and croissants and other provisions. The surrounding countryside was spectacular offering numerous vineyards to visit and taste wine, chateaux and beautiful historic villages, some great walks and good cycling - you can hire bikes at the local tourist information centre in Voiteur. About 40 mins away are some beautiful lakes which we enjoyed swimming in after some walking. We also enjoyed, by chance, a brilliant firework display held in the village towards the end of our stay. We highly recommend Therese's house and the Jura region.
