Pelican Roost is part of Woodland Shores resort, one of the original developments on the lake. Woodland Shores is a golf cart community so in the warmer months you’ll see people going about their transit via golf cart. It’s a sure sign you’re living at a slower pace.
The resort has a private swim beach, swim platform, picnic area, basketball court, playground, boat launch and courtesy slips. All the listed amenities are are short walk from the cabin.

This is a rural area. No public transit is available. A personal car is needed to get around the area.
