A superb location overlooking the sand and pebble shore of East Wittering, this beach house is a stunner and hugely popular. The spacious interior has bi-fold sea-facing full length windows on both floors with plenty of sumptuous seating inside to make the most of the glorious views whatever the time of year. With the village shops and cafes a stone's throw away, and the beach at the end of the garden, 31 Marine Close is a simply perfect spot. Sleeps 8. Direct sea front location. No smoking. No pets. WiFi. The fully fitted kitchen has everything you would need for a self catering holiday including a Rangemaster cooker with 6 ring gas burner, electric oven, large fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, and cafetiere. A circular dining table seats eight and the large comfy sitting area has inviting sofas and easy chairs for everyone. The flatscreen TV has Sky and Freeview and there is also a DVD player. The bi-fold doors open onto the covered terrace with table and chairs overlooking the garden and sea. The groundfloor also has a cloakroom, a utility room with tumble dryer and washing machine, hanging rails for wet suits and beach kit, and a good amount of storage space. It is tiled throughout with underfloor heating. One ensuite bedroom with a walk-in shower is on the groundfloor, with three further bedrooms upstairs. Stairs to upstairs landing: Bedroom 1: Master bedroom: Super King size bed, bi-fold doors onto the upstairs balcony, unusual inset bath screened by foldback doors and ensuite shower room. Bedroom 2: Twin 3' beds. Can be zip & linked to make a double on request. Bedroom 3: Twin 3' beds. Can be zip & linked to make a double on request. Family room with snuggler seating, TV with DVD player, gasfire and clear doors onto the glassfronted balcony and views across the Solent. Family bathroom: beautifully finished with bath and shower over and separate handheld attachment, floor tiles, and skylight. Outside has a wooden decking patio giving onto the lawn garden with beach beyond. The patio has dining table and chairs, with additional canvas directors chairs and steamer loungers to make the most of being outside. At the far end of the lawn is the seawall curved sunken wooden seating area, with cushions provided, dividing the garden from the pebble shore. Driveway parking for three cars.

Gorgeous property in an amazing location.
Well designed building in a very good location on the beach. Plenty of space inside with sufficient furniture for all of us. Good to find a house with beds for adults and not just bunk beds.

We are situated approximately 65 miles south west of London in this beautiful corner of West Sussex in the south of England. The area we cover is 6 miles south of the Cathedral City of Chichester and includes the villages of East Wittering, West Wittering, Bracklesham Bay and Itchenor and includes a 4 mile stretch of beach and 'National Trust' owned sand dunes and glorious Chichester Harbour. A mainline station located at Chichester provides a regular service to London Victoria in about 1 hour 45 minutes and to Gatwick in about 1 hour 5 minutes. An alternative, slightly faster rail service to London is also available from Havant in about 1 hour 20 minutes to London Waterloo.

East Wittering is situated on the coast 7 miles south of the Cathedral City of Chichester. Chichester has a main line railway station which provides a regular service to London Victoria in about 1 hour 45 minutes and to Gatwick in about 1 hour 5 minutes. An alternative, slightly faster rail service to London is also available from Havant in about 1 hour 20 minutes to London Waterloo. Brighton, Portsmouth and Southampton are all easily reached along the coast. The area is well served from Chichester with the A27 (M27) coastal route and A3 to London.
East Wittering has an excellent range of shops and facilities which include a health centre, chemists, banks, supermarkets etc. Chichester 7 miles to the north offers a wealth of cultural and entertainment activities such as the Festival Theatre, Pallant House art gallery, Cathedral, multiplex cinema and leisure centre. Within two miles of Chichester is Goodwood House the location for the world famous Festival of Speed, Goodwood motor racing circuit and 'Glorious Goodwood' horse racing.

The Cathedral city of Chichester is one of the most well-preserved Georgian cities in the UK, with its centre sitting within the famous old Roman walls. The four main pedestrianised streets, North, South, East and West converge on the central, ancient Market Cross and offer a comprehensive range of shops, bars and restaurants.
The arts are well catered for as Chichester is home to the world renowned Festival Theatre and smaller Minerva Theatre and also the Pallant House Art Gallery which is now enjoying a well deserved international reputation for its contemporary art. Annually the city plays host to a number of celebrated music and arts festivals centred around the Cathedral.
