In Sandusky, Ohio - This cottage sleeps up to 6 and includes a primary suite with a queen bed, 2 bunk beds, stairs up to a loft with a queen bed, full kitchen, laundry and a full bath. We have a panoramic view of the Sandusky Bay and a view of Cedar Point. (Please note, you cannot stand up in the upstairs loft.) We are close to Cedar Point Amusement Park, Sports Force Parks, marinas, dining, shopping, wineries and more! Plus, Sandusky is just a short jaunt away from the Lake Erie Islands.

My family and I just stayed here and will definitely be going back! The cottage was spotless, homey, and had the best views! It is so close to so many activities!
We stayed in one of the cottages on Bayfront’s property. It was absolutely wonderful. We were a little surprised to see that it was a RV camping site as well (two rows of cottages separated by one row of RV hook ups), but it was so clean and organized, and everyone there was quiet and respectful. The house was clean and organized. The bedding was so comfortable… the sheets, the comforters, the pillows… all clean and cozy. Bath towels were supplied for each guest. The kitchen was perfect for cooking small meals. We stayed here with our four children (ages 12-18) and had plenty of space. The loft is definitely a spot for kids to sleep because of the low ceiling and they did mention that they got a little hot during the night (even with the ceiling fans and air conditioning turned down), so maybe bring a portable fan for the loft. We could not have been more pleased with our stay! We will be back! Highly recommend.
Not much to add to the rating - the property was wonderful! Great welcoming front desk staff, extremely clean, very responsive, right on the water and perfect proximity to the area attractions! Great for families, couples or small groups!
It was exactly what we needed and matched the description
The place was very clean inside and beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was adequately stocked for cooking, and it had all the necessary appliances. I could not tell from the photos, this is more like a tiny home than a cabin or house. I am 5'8" and could not move through the loft space just bending over, I had to either crawl or walk while bending my knees/crouching and bending over at the waist. The listing stated there were 6 beds, but there were only 4 beds and 2 of the beds (the pictured bunks) were in the hallway, not a bedroom. It was comfortable and very clean, but would not recommend if your party is more than 2 (or maybe 2 adults and 2 smaller children) and you plan to eat or cook "at home"/in the house since there was only a small counter space with 2 stools, no coffee table or other surface to sit plates/drinks on. There are also A LOT of geese, so if you are bothered by them or their poop outside, might not be the place for you. Overall, we did really enjoy our stay.

We are right off 1st Street in Sandusky which is a mix of residential, marinas, and condos. When you pull into our property, you'll see a storage building, but once you turn the corner of the gate, all you see is the beauty of Sandusky Bay (Lake Erie) and the sounds of the water!
You have one parking space with your cottage. If you have additional vehicles, there will be a charge and they will need to park in overflow parking. We are a short drive (1.5 miles) to downtown Sandusky with shops, dining, and ferry to the islands. We are just 2.4 miles from Cedar Point. There are taxis available if you prefer not to drive.

This cottage is part of Bayfront Resort at Cross View, a luxury RV resort owned by the Hoty family. The Hotys are local and visit the property almost daily. They own many properties in the Sandusky area, including two marinas on the same street as Bayfront Resort. The Hoty family takes pride in each of their properties, and you can see it with the attention to detail of this cottage.
