Jan is a very friendly and welcoming host. The stay at his place made my Oslo trip really memorable with a local touch. I felt very welcomed at his home and he helped me with lots of requests. We had some nice chats and he invited me for a drink with his friends. His boyfriend and friends and really fantastic people and I enjoyed chatting with them. The cat is also very cute, and I love having the cat's presence when I'm at their home. The location of the home is also closer to the city center than I expected because transportation in Oslo is very convenient. I would really recommend staying at Jan's place for anyone who's solo travelling to Oslo.

Ich habe 3 Tage in Oslo verbracht und habe mich in Jan Arnes Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt . Alles war so wie beschrieben . Das Zimmer ist klein aber vollkommen ausreichend . Die Katze hat mich begrüßt , sie ist sehr zutraulich. Ich kann Jan Arne als Gastgeber sehr empfehlen , eine sehr zuvorkommender Mensch . Vielen Dank

Super great host, I highly recommend this place not far from the city center, the couple is very social and lovely. Had the best time in Oslo.

Hadde en fiiin tid hos Jan Arne. Han er en raus og hyggelig vert, og ukomplisertheten og fleksibiliteten hans var enestående. Rommet er hyggelig og praktisk innredet. God seng, deilig myk sengetøy og dyne. Alt var rent og i orden og fungerende. Jeg sov pga jobben på dagtid og selv ikke det var vanskelig. Morsomme katter, og med t-bane overraskende rask til byens sentrum eller tom Oslos vestkant. Anbefales for et rimelig og praktisk opphold i Oslo! Jan Arne er en fin person!

fab place...quiet away from city centre but with an easy commute via reuter pass which you will find useful to get around anyway. there is a good transport system in Oslo and beyond so nothing is that far really. metro..tram...bus...its all here. Jan and his partner both very helpful and friendly and so was the lovely cat. it really did feel like home from home and I was made most welcome. i felt safe as a solo traveller navigating myself around the city and always coming back to a lovely warm apartment and a nice chat about my day. New friends I hope to see again soon. Things to see and do in Oslo all the usual tourist stuff...there are 2 park runs here every sat 9.30am...parks are amazing...do a sauna and swim, and if you get a chance to watch a decent show go for it. Oslo can be expensive but be save and it can be done reasonable...check out street food places too. thank you Jan you were fab
