We spent an idyllic week at Wisteria Cottage. The property and grounds are stunning, making our first trip to the IOM very special indeed. The owners are very friendly, along with little dog Mollie. Even in blustery April we managed to have breakfast and relax in the sun in the front garden in the afternoon -nice little sun trap :). We hope to visit again in the future.

This was our second visit and have already booked our third. If you’re looking for relaxation, peace in clean spacious accommodation with fab surroundings I’d defo recommend this place. We also had a small dog with us and the owners were very pet friendly.

We cannot recommend Wisteria Cottage highly enough. It was the finest holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. The decor and furnishings were sheer quality throughout and we even had our own private parterre garden. Every attention to detail has been thought of (even a radio in the utility room!) The rooms are large, especially the kitchen where there is an Alpha (similar to Aga). The cottage is in 82 acres of fields, woods, a lake, all beautifully kept and available for us to stroll in. Berrag Farm is not a working farm (although there are some cows in one field behind the wood). It is a beautiful building and the owners are really lovely, very warm and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble.

We booed Wisteria cottage for our trip to the Isle of Man GP. The cottage was wonderful, very cosy, warm and well appointed with everything we needed. Not only that but the cottage is set in beautiful grounds, with it’s own ornamental garden. Our hosts Beverly and Denzil were extremely welcoming and helpful, leaving bread, cheese and milk for us on arrival , and bringing fresh eggs, milk and cakes during the stay. We even had the use of the barn to park our motorcycles. I’ve stayed on the island many times and this was far and away the nicest place To spend the week. We had a great time, and even when there was no racing it was a perfect place to relax. We were quite sorry to leave, and if we come to see the racing again, I hope we can stay again.
