Worst Airbnb experience ever. Upon arrival, there was stinky trash in the kitchen and dishwasher full of dirty dishes. We found shards of glass on the floor in an upstairs bedroom. Stains on carpet EVERYWHERE. This house has a laundry chute and there were dirty socks hanging from the ceiling in the laundry room at the bottom of the chute. Pills in between the cushions on the couch. Ceiling tiles in the basement bathroom kept falling out randomly. Weirdest of all was no blinds or drapes on all road facing windows including the master bathroom. We felt on display. Two things were not disclosed prior to us booking. There is a cat that normally lives in this house (not while we we’re there) and the property has a chicken coup that they indicated required twice daily maintenance by someone. My wife is very allergic to cats and was reacting the entire trip. We wanted a private place to stay and having a person come onto the property twice a day was not private in our opinion.
