The Tiny House is in the backyard of our home. Our pup and our little boy are sometimes out back playing. You'll come in and go out through a a big gate at the top of the driveway. There's a latch on the gate that should be closed at all times. And just so you know, there's always a house project going on in the backyard. : )

Best tiny house! This home is beautiful and tucked away to make you feel like you’re in nature. The owners put a lot of thought into all the tiny details. It felt much bigger than I expected and I loved spending my time in the loft. A visit worth having!
This space is a peaceful, restful delight. It was fun to experience a tiny house, and this one is beautiful and thoughtfully stocked. Knowing it was in a small backyard, I had wondered if it would feel private. M & J have done something magical, it's very peaceful, quiet, and private and feels tucked away in the trees.
Cozy comfortable hideaway treehouse. Close to everything in Durham. Hosts thoughtfully provided local Counter Culture Coffee and a phone charger ❤️
Mira and Jarret were amazing and such kind hosts! They have clearly put a lot of thought into their tiny home - it was our first tiny home stay and dang will it be a tough act to follow. The amount of love and thought they have poured into the space shows in every detail and every inch of this space - which has everything you could ever ask for! Mira did warn us the loft bed space can get a little warm, and she was totally right. Thank goodness they’ve thought of that too! We took the remote for the AC unit up to the bed with us and were able to adjust to our preference. They’ve also thoughtfully provided a small fan in the loft bed area to keep the air circulating. An absolute gem!
Northgate Park straddles I85 on the north side of downtown Durham. Our place is in the northern half of Northgate, about a seven minute drive from downtown. It's a sweet and quiet neighborhood filled with friendly families riding their bikes and walking their dogs. Within a couple miles you'll find all you need: supermarkets, lots of yummy restaurants, the Life and Science Museum, walking and biking trails, big beautiful parks and lots more. Please consult the local map for resources. Or ask us!
You'll definitely need a car to get around from this neighborhood. And so as not to tax the neighborhood, it would be best to bring only one car and please only park in front of our house.
