This is a great house and a great location. Vacasa did not respond to my message before the trip with questions about the house before we came, so we had an expectation of a hot tub on site. In the ultrafine print of the dropbox document they sent there is a mention that the hot tub is shared, but it is not mentioned on the Airbnb page. A hot tub is apparently now being installed.

This home is part of Black Butte Ranch, a private resort community about ten miles outside Sisters, Oregon. Because it is run by an international vacation rental organization the house is sorely missing the personal care that an airbnb homeowner would provide. There was no guide to the house—no instructions on how to operate sauna, jacuzzi tub, heating system, etc. When we called Vacasa and asked how to turn heating system on they told us, "There is no heating system other than the woodstove." This information did not match the Airbnb posting, and turned out to be untrue (after causing much anxiety). Luckily, we figured how to operate the system. We were unable to get the sauna working. The house is beautiful. Black Butte Ranch is stunning. But the management of facility lacks care and attention.
