Russ, you are an amazing person and Host. Not only did we enjoy our stay, we enjoyed your company. The views are amazing and the environment is peaceful - exactly what we wanted. You were very attentive to us, which we greatly appreciated. The living accommodations were better than expected. We cannot thank you enough for giving us exactly what we wanted and more. Russ went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful!! We loved everything about his air bnb! He was easy to work with and his home was better than posted. He provided some great snacks and a couple of staple breakfast items. His property was very nice and quiet. We felt right at home immediately. He was available to answer any questions that we could have and we had some good general conversations with him too! We would highly recommend his place to anyone and would love to get back there ourselves too! Definitely a top notch place!!

Russell is very hospitable and very responsive. He genuinely cares about the well-being of his customers, and his residence has nothing but top quality appliances and amenities with two master bedrooms and a lavish bathroom complete with a Jacuzzi bath, a separate full-size shower and dual sinks. For those who like to work in the kitchen, the residence has a gas range. This is the second year my family and I have stayed there, and we plan on going back again next summer.

We had such a terrific stay at Russell’s place. The apartment is above his garage, but detached from the house. He was friendly and helpful, but always respectful of our privacy. The place was pristine and had everything we needed. The gardens around the property are really quite something. He actually offered us the first zucchini of the season. Before we arrived he stocked the place with coffee and our choice of milk products, as well as healthy snacks. We swam in the beautiful lake several times and read down on the dock… very relaxing. This place is idyllic, truly!

Our family of four vacationed in Maine and visited friends nearby. Russ was very accommodating to allow my daughter’s college friend from Maine to stay and visit as well. Russ is super friendly and responsive; when we had a question or concern Russ answered immediately! The home is pristine and beautiful with a view of the pond, surrounded by gardens. We enjoyed a short walk down to the dock and relaxing in tubes, watching the bald eagles, and even catching fish! We also had the option to use his kayaks and canoe. Russ didn’t miss a thing and even made scrumptious blueberry scones; his fridge was stocked with basics plus fresh fruit, milk, water, OJ and wine! You are close to the Maine shore, lakes, rivers, and fresh seafood restaurants. And don’t forget Hussy’s! Rusty’s Resort is a hidden gem and if I could give it 10 stars I would!
