Dog friendly cottage on the shores of Petite Lake! Close to Chicago, and Milwaukee, this is a perfect escape from the city! Located on the Chain o'Lakes region of northern Illinois, there is plenty to do year round! From swimming to downhill skiing, or just enjoying a campfire looking over the lake, there's something for everyone!

Great location perfect for our family.
We come here every summer and it never disappoints. We love this house and petite lake resort in general. So much fun swimming with our 2 year old, hanging on the beach, fishing, having a fire, etc!!!

We loved our stay at the Nautical Lake Petite Resort! It was a beautiful cottage that looks out at the lake. Every part of it was perfect. The cottage is adorable & has everything you could need. The beds were very comfortable as well. Amanda was a great host & everyone who works with her made you feel at home. Would totally recommend her and this beautiful place. 10 stars all the

2 dedicated parking spaces. A car or boat is required to access restaurants/bars/grocery stores. If you do not plan on bringing a vehicle, Uber and Lyft are plentiful, especially in the summer. You are welcome to have groceries delivered to the home the day of your arrival after 10am. If delivered prior to the 3pm check in, please reach out so that we may assist in getting them in the home and put away, for a small additional fee of $20.

I started this vacation rental journey 11 years ago with my family property, Cypress Resort & Marine, which has been a Super host for 10 years and counting. I am now fortunate to expand into the neighboring Petite Lake Resort that has 4 homes, a Beachfront studio and an Airstream. Located on Petite Lake, a part of the Chain O'Lakes, where the fun is endless and the nature is bountiful.
