This was definitely a unique Airbnb experience experience. Our first time staying in a custom-built space like that. Less than half an hour drive from crystal mountain and traverse city but located in the countryside away from all the hustle. Super quiet at night letting us get good sleep. The bread and wine we found when we arrived made us feel right at home. Definitely recommend!

This is an unusual and pleasantly surprising Airbnb unit. A large indoor space and many amenities, and a large outdoor patio and seating area, both surrounded by flowering plants and landscaped gardens with a goldfish pond and watercourse. On a farm about five minutes west of Kingsley MI. Kingsley is a small town about 20-30 minutes south of Traverse City, about 30 minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes on Lake Michigan. Kingsley has recently added a couple decent restaurants and a brewery that offers brews from Workshop Brewery in TC--with an outdoor space with seating, an indoor bar with many taps, and live music many evenings. Also check out the Cast Iron Kitchen (great breakfast and lunch) and the Kingsley Inn--new ownership and menu by the folks that run the Hofbrau Steakhouse and American Grill in Interlochen, MI. Nice country vibe in easy reach of TC, Mission Peninsula, Sleeping Bear Dunes. Highly recommended.

We had a very nice stay at Mark's farmstead retreat. Lovely accommodations, close to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear, Leland and all the wonderful things to do in that area, but quiet and peaceful when returning to relax. Beautiful flower gardens everywhere. Beds were very comfortable, great shower. Mark and Anna were wonderful hosts. Highly recommend.
