Perfect getaway venue for families or couples - right in Lethbridge's "back yard." Located on an acreage just 6 minutes from the Lethbridge Airport or Costco, this 3800 sq. ft., 6 bedroom house, can keep ages young and old entertained with its incredible views of the Oldman River bottom and coulee landscape; 7-person hot tub; ping pong table; Play Station 5; outdoor gas firepit; home gym; board games galore; and four large flat screen TV's (hello Netflix, Fubo Sports and Disney Plus!). The large, two story home, is situated on 2 acres of land, and is built near the edge of the coulees, complete with panoramic views of the Oldman River bottom, Paradise Canyon Golf & Country Club and the High Level Bridge. While the property is just a short, 6 minute drive from the Lethbridge Airport and nearby big box stores Walmart, Costco and Superstore, it is also a fantastic place to observe nature, including Bald Eagles (weekly sightings), Canadian Geese (daily), song birds (daily), hawks (monthly sightings), Mule Deer (daily), and every once in awhile, fox and coyotes. Inside the house is a spacious interior that's ideal for families. While it can sleep up to 16 people (base nightly rate is for 8 people), it is also the perfect for couples looking for a weekend getaway. Relax in the spa-like master bedroom, complete with a 4-piece ensuite (jacuzzi and steam shower), or take a dip in the outdoor hot tub to enjoy the sunsets, fresh air and stars (which you can see if it isn’t overcast). The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking supplies, plates and cutlery, as well as basic cooking supplies, such as spices. In between dips in the hot tub, don’t forget about the large rec room / gym — which not only has some serious gym equipment (hex dumbbell rack, smith machine, cable machine, flat bench and exercise mats), but also a 65” TV, PlayStation 5 (along with a number of games) and a Peloton fitness guide that’s synced to the TV. Disclaimers: - Garage space not included with the rental. - There are long-term renters in the basement of the property; however, their space is completely separate and apart from the Airbnb rental unit. Other than seeing them drive up the driveway, or enter in through the garage on occasion, the two living spaces are separate. The basement tenants are, however, responsible for maintaining the outside premises; so you may see them watering flowers or shrubs - or checking the chemicals in the hot tub. - Visitors need to drive 3 km’s on a gravel road off HWY 5 to reach the property. Although the road is well-maintained by the County, your favorite sports car may not be the mode of transport for this particular venue.
This was such a beautiful place. It was large, bright, clean and had an open concept. It is perfect for a large family gathering. We had Easter there and the kitchen was the most stocked kitchen I have ever seen in an air bnb. Everything you could need to cook a big dinner. The host was so responsive when I had a question. We would highly recommend and will DEFINITELY be back
With 10 of us arriving in Lethbridge for a family wedding, this space provided the perfect home away from home! The house far exceeded our high expectations. From the fresh flowers, to the wonderful arrival basket to the beautiful bath amenities… this place was too great! Comfortable, welcoming, private, well appointed and every little detail thought of! An excellent kitchen, with everything needed and more. Comfortable beds, wonderful common spaces! Mike and Yody were the most fantastic hosts and we absolutely cannot say enough about this space! We will be back for sure!
This has been an incredible experience and I am so grateful for everything Naomi, Kalen, Mike, and Yotey did for us before and during our stay. Such a beautiful property that is well cared for. This is an acreage located NW of the Lethbridge Airport overlooking the river bottom. The views are vast, with the white-capped Rocky Mountains visible most days. However, because of these magnificent views, we do not have a fenced yard.
Other than wildlife that may appear from time to time (mostly Mule Deer), the property does not contain any free-roaming domesticated animals or livestock. The basement tenants do, however, have an indoor dog -- a super friendly Scotch Collie, who assists with yard maintenance responsibilities from time to time. If you have any concerns about this, please let us know!
On the rare occasion (once every few years), rattle snakes have been spotted on the property. If you see one, please keep your distance and report it to us right away.
The acreage is located at the end of a cul-de-sac with other houses. While the lots in the country residential neighborhood are large, please not venture off the property or disturb the neighbours in any way. All guests must park on-site the property, and not in the street or cul-de-sac.
All visitors must drive to the property. There is no transit or walking trails into the City of Lethbridge from the property.
