Joseph and Mary were the best hostesses! The house was roomy, clean and had every kitchen gadget imaginable! Plus, they had some basic spices and cooking needs which was great for us, and they left us some freshly made sun tea, lemons, and blueberries they picked in the freezer! The beds were super comfy. Everyone slept well, and the house/beds/rooms fit our family of 8 with more than enough room. The view was incredible - the porch was our favorite spot! As an added bonus, we floated the river, and Mary and Joseph had the floaties and showed us where to enter. It was a great surprise and fun for all! I would recommend 100% - just be aware you are out a long way from a store or restaurant, as stated in their description. We enjoyed staying put and relaxing a lot. I would go back!

Took a chance on a new listing and glad I did! Our extended family of 8 adults and 2 small kids stayed here for 3 nights and made many memories. The location (right on the river) is gorgeous and private and only a 20-minute drive to the lake. The hosts stayed in their cottage in their barn nearby, which I appreciated as they were very welcoming and helpful throughout. The house was charming and well-stocked with all the necessities. The three bedrooms upstairs aren't very private, but it didn't make much difference for us. All in all, this was a wonderful place, and we hope to come back!
